It is only in 10g and the 4 CPUs maximum is enforced anyway. From

"It is supported on either a single server supporting up to a maximum
of 4 CPUs, or on a clustered server environment, with a total maximum
of 4 CPUs in the cluster."

So either 2*2 or 4*1 nodes/CPU.

Other restriction - only Oracle clusterware.

P.S. Initially articles assumed that SE with RAC is answer to MS evil
forces :) Restriction for Oracle clusterware seems a hidden goal to
test it throughout.
Interesting - were these really THE REAL goals and are they achieved
more or less? :)

edition, but an option for enterprise edition??
