Hmm... Grooming DBAs. Well, I'm game.

I suggest starting with a soft sponge and some warm soapy water. If
they are self-starters, they will figure out what you are trying to tell
them. If not, perhaps a more hands-on method would be better for you.

Once you have finished with the sponge and warm soapy water, the next
step is to comb or brush their hair. And, depending on how well groomed
you want them, you might want to do a manicure or pedicure as well.
Finally, you can discuss various options for garments, and then, upon
final inspection, they should be ready for presentations. I can't
imagine that this would require more than a part time effort, but then,
I don't know how desperate your situation is.

Best of luck, though.
Bambi.

Subject: Grooming DBAs ?

Folks

Need to groom a team of DBAs for internal performance Benchmarks of our
product. This would involve grooming some existing as well as new
software professionals having a few years of working experience with
Oracle Databases.

- Need to make a presentation to senior management on time, effort,
scope, training plans, road-map etc. Any existing PPTs, pointers, Docs
on the same?

- Also need your advice on how much effort of mine may be involved in
achieving this? Can it be achieved thru my part-time engagement?

Thanks indeed
