No, all of the management server-specific functionality has been stripped out of the Java OEM Console in 10g. The job system does exist in Grid Control, though the event system has been replaced by metric-limit notifications. The main thing to consider is that Grid Control is simply different, and I¹ve found that the majority of my initial dislike of it was resolved by just getting used to it. There are some things that really aren¹t as fully featured, though. For example, in R1 of Grid Control, the job system does not have a way (that I could see) of performing multiple tasks. Also, there is no way to upgrade 9i jobs and events to 10g Grid Control, and jobs cannot notify you if they fail. Supposedly Grid Control R2 addresses a number of complaints that people had about R1; I¹m actually in the process of setting it up right now to test it.
