It can do multiple tasks at one time, depending on how it is set up.
There are some OEM screens to modify its behavior- I usually set it at 2
or 3.

We have a GATHER_STATS_JOB running daily at 3AM and analyzing tables
with
stale stats. Does this job analyze these tables
one after another or does it run analyze on multiuple tables
concurrently?
