   1. From a Statspack Report is it possible to know the Snap Level (5 or 7)

   2. From the Database how can the Level of an existing Statspack Snap be
   known?

Snap level is recorded for each snapshot in STAT$SNAPSHOT.SNAP_LEVEL. It is
reported by sprsqins.sql but not as far as I can quickly see by the general
statspack report sprepins.sql (looking at an 10gR2 XE version).

But nothing to stop you adding it yourself ....
