Either that or they'd improve their English skills. Guess I'm going to have to find that Western European keyboard. I have over the years met many good DBAs (many mediocre ones too, but this is another topic) whose command on English was sufficient for reading the docs but a bit 'light' to participate on this kind of list as actively as they might otherwise have. I have often advertised this list, but with little success amongst most French speakers. I guess that many on this list have made the same observation. I have just created a list named oraclefr on freelists.org (just like oracle-l). You subscribe to this list by sending email to oraclefr-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface. I don't expect the traffic to be huge, especially in the beginnings, so I guess that it will be easier to subscribe to both oracle-l and oraclefr than to oracle-l and the lazydba list (I dare hardly mention the off-topic list). Please advertise widely, especially to people who are English-shy. -- Regards, Stephane Faroult Oriole ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
