Hi,

The algorithm used to generate the DBID is not documented.

As for its uniqueness: if a database is duplicated without RMAN and
without using the "nid" utility, it will have the same DBID as the
primary one.

Moreover we can't assume that "create database" or "nid" generate a
DBID that is 100% guaranteed unique on earth.
The only piece of information we can obtain about it is that's a number(22)=
.
