Mladen,
I upgraded 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0.1 and then the 9.2.0.5 patch on RedHat AS
2.1u3 and the only problem I found was the @?/rdbms/admin/catpatch.sql.
It generated a few errors with the "insufficient privileges" wording.
The RMAN catalog upgrade ( on the 8.1.7.4 server upgraded okay but he
RMAN target against the 8.1.7.4 database shows that the versions are
incompatable). That's the next project.

This simply forces me to ask, as if someone has put a gun to
my forehead: were there any problems with anything else=3F
