RE: Differential incremental backups - Do you really use them?

I have a large number of databases to worry about, we use HOT backups,
RMAN hot backups and a few cold backups. 

Everything is a full backup, every night. With a copy of the last 5 days
archive logs being kept online at any one time. These are hived off to
tape as well.
