You cannot use transportable tablespaces to move the system tablespace. Have
you scripts to move such things as user and profile definitions. I don't
know about the sysaux tablespace.
I looked at this problem and figured using datapump was going to be easier.
The problems we ran into were not all APEX objects were imported we had to do a
correction by hand. all database (dbms_jobs), became owned by SYSTEM. A
script to revert them had to be run. Some of our graphics did not display.
We found an alternate and recommended function and this was fixed.

What is a DB size and allowed database downtime ?
This information are required to choose a proper method.
