You might want to add the following at the end of your cloning process.

'alter database rename global_name to new_name.domain_name;'

(SELECT * FROM GLOBAL_NAME;  to see the current value.)

All the datafiles also have a DBID on them that gets Reset when the
Controlfile is Recreated with set Database Name Call.
