hostname is in /etc/hosts and resolves OK, but "hostname" command still returns
old hostname, even after reboot

The hostname resolves OK. I can ping it on the oracle server and from other
servers

Metalink says something about DNS not being available. Can you ping other

After chageing the hostname, I changed the listener.ora and tnsnames, ora files
on the server, but when I start oracle I get the error :

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [keltnfy-ldmInit], [46], [1], [], []]

Sys admin wants to change the hostname of the server running Oracle 10.

What oracle configuration do I need to change so oracle will still work?
