RE: Can't open database

If you finally get the db open, make a complete backup and then export the
data, rebuild the database, and import it into the newly created database.
This will get you around any Oracle support problems you might run into by
using the unsupported parameters.

He has already tried some hidden parameters. So i suggested him to try this
also. Any way word of disclaimer would have been better.

Of course, this advice should come with the disclaimer that this
action should be performed under the supervision of Oracle Tech
Support.  That is, if you expect any support from them on the
database.

Also, your data could very well be in an inconsistent state.
