RE: Can anyone point me to some documentation - Oracle EE 9.2.0.8 running on Solaris 10 with ZFS.

Thanks Rich. I had found this site earlier - and I may have overlooked some
good information. We have been having a hard time arguing the need to separate
control files, redo logs and other database files into separate disks given
that we are on an enterprise disk solution. We made the change today to
introduce a new ZFS pool for the redo logs only. Initial appearance is that
this made a positive difference. I will let folks know our end results after
we get some more run time under the new configuration.

A Google search for "oracle zfs tuning" brought up many hits, including:

http://www.solarisinternals.com/wiki/index.php/ZFS_for_Databases

...second from the top.

HTH! GL!
