Thanks Tim. I've tried that, but it just reverses the KEEP procedure,
i.e. it unpins the cursor so it's subject to the LRU again, but it
doesn't immediately invalidate it.

Not sure, but try DBMS_SHARED_POOL.UNKEEP, perhaps?
