Any experiences in attempting to reduce the number of licences under Maintenance


Does anyone have experiences with Oracle in attempting to reduce the number of
Licenses [particularly Database Licenses, by Named User and/or Processor count]
under Maintenance ?

Is that worthwhile as a cost-cutting exercise ?
