RE: Antw: trace files written to ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/log

Check Metalink too. I vaguely recall a student mentioning that this
behavior occurred as the result of a bug.

Markus,
 Ignore the previous message about the select from V$PARAMETER, I miss
read the message.
On the OS level change to the dump location and see if there have been
any symbolic links established that piont to the other location. Perhaps
the sysadmin redirected the files because of space limitations.

ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/l=
og Any ideas as to why this is the case. TIA BTW Am also using a
spfile. =
