Are you on ASM?  If so check that alert.log
Is your log area full?  Check to see if you can do a log switch.

any alerts in the bdump or udump area?
Any alerts in the crs logs?

Are you using rman?  try doing a crosscheck on the archivelogs and deleting any 
of the expired.

If you are on linux and using ASM there is a bug that hangs ASM after 300+ days 
and 
you need to take down your dbs, reboot ASM and then bring backup  you dbs.

This is for a 10.2.0.1 ASM db.

Can you connect via sqlplus using an
OS id, other than the one that was used for install? Whats the permission
for the oracle executable under $ORACLE_HOME/bin?  Have seen something
similar when the root.sh was not executed, and the sticky bit was not set
for the relevant executables.



Try a listener reload?

yes able to connect to database locally as
sys user on server.

confusing is with sys user am not able to
query from v$lock and can query from v#session

not able to connect from sql client.

Oh yeah - just because sufficient space is available on the disks (depending
on your Operating System - it'd help to have that info) that doesn't mean
a filesystem hasn't filled up.

am not able to connect to our production
server, two nod rac.

in oem it is showing metric collection error.
in alert logs there are no errors. dumps or core have no been generated
at other dump destinations.

other sys none of the user is getting connected

 

what could be the issue...this is critical
production system
