Your faith is refreshing...  :-)

...but possibly misplaced.  For example, Oracle10g 10.1.0.3 is supported on 
Windows NT 4.0 (according to MetaLink), but the ASM documentation (on OTN) 
states quite clearly that ASM is not supported on Windows NT 4.0 (only on the 
later flavors of Windows).

So, either the OTN docs are wrong, or MetaLink is wrong, or the idea that ASM 
is supported whereever 10g is supported is wrong.  Personally, I'm guessing 
door #3...(but willing to be proved incorrect!)...

Anyway, I was hoping that someone had found a super-secret magical list of 
supported platforms for ASM that isn't found in the usual place on MetaLink?  
Or perhaps there's someone on this list who knows?  Or someone on this list 
knows someone who knows?
