AS10gR2 - moving web, mid and im tiers to new hosts

The environment:
Web tier - Web Cache 10.1.2.3.0
Middle tier - AS 10G R2 10.1.2.3.0, Portal 10.1.4.2.0 (Portal only, no
Wireless, Discoverer, Reports and Forms)
IM tier - 10.1.4.2.0 (OID, SSO, no OCA)
The OS of the above mentioned tiers is SLES 9 32 bit.
The Database containing the Product and Identity Metadata is on a
dedicated host - AIX 5.3,
the Database Server version is 10.2.0.3.
The question is: what is the most rapid and efficient way to move the
Web, Middle and IM tiers to new hosts (the OS on the target machines is
RHEL 5.5 64 bit),
the database should remain on the actual host (and possibly no new
database should be created!)?
I read a lot of documentation (the official docs and MOS notes) and it
seems that the only way to move the IM tier to a new machine presumes
the creation of a new environment: a temporary replicated IM environment
with its own new database or a brand new setup and data migration (see
Staging a new test environment from production in the admin guide).
It seems it is not possible to clone the IM tier using the official
cloning procedure (it's officially documented that the cloning Perl
scripts are not included in the IM installation).
So, is it possible to move the Web, Portal and IM tiers to new hosts in
some other way?
