Is this just an install or are you patching 9.2 to 0.4 or some other
variety? I didn't have any problems with the install itself altho our new
security stuff made it possible to only copy the cd's to disk and install
from disk so maybe that made a difference. When you are installing patches,
be sure you get the patches for AIX5L, not Aix 5 64bit.

Subject: AIX Install Help
Hi All!
I am trying to install Oracle 9iR2 on AIX5.2(L). The genclntsh
and other link commands are failing with 'file not found' messages
for a file called 'shr.o'. This file isn't anywhere in
$ORACLE_HOME.
Any tips? Experience? FM's? What didn't I install to have this
file missing?
