Please do not complain further about this post. I have already suspended the the list member from whose account the message came and I am waiting for a response before deciding how long the suspension will last.

I am aware that this message was sent directly to addresses harvested from the list as well as to the list address itself.

To those who complained, thanks for complaining directly to me, rather than to the whole list. As normal, our list community has shown great restraint.
