max_dump_file_size parameter should restrict the size of the dump
file.

Subject
2,2 GB Coredump

Hi,

Did anyone had the problem of Oracle creating dump files of 2+ GB?

We are dealing with ORA-07445 and ORA-04030 today. For the 3rd time all
the nodes create dump files of 2.2/2.1 Gb which fills up the space.

Is there any way to stop Oracle creating coredumps temporarily? Any ideas
on how to solve this until we find the main cause?

Thanks.
