 We have done 100+ upgrades in all our DEV/QC/UAT/PROD envionments; Method used 
manual. Reason-You know what you are doing. On one occasion we created 10g db 
and migrated the data because the data dictionary was corrupted during 8i to 9i 
upgrade and did not show up till we attempted 10g upgrade.

If you've upgraded more than one database to 10g, please let me know what 
method you chose:



1. dbua

2. Manual upgrade

3. Created a 10g database and migrated the data.

chose the path you selected and if you had to do it again if you'd done it 
differently.
