Hmmm. Not sure what the problem could be (any errors in the install
log?) but I did the exact same thing for 10.2.0.2 client and it worked
fine. That patch # is 4547817. You might try 10.2.0.1 > 10.2.0.2 >
10.2.0.4 to see if that works.

Gurus,
I am looking to Install Oracle 10.2.0.4 Client on Windows XP Pro
machine.
There is no direct way to download and Install this.
Done so far
1) Installed 10.2.0.1 Oracle Windows Client
2) unzipping and installing p6810189_10204_Win32.zip is not "upgrading"
the client to 10.2.0.4 --- any pointers / Tips on what can be done ?
