Guys,
I am also pleased to inform that I have cleared "Oracle 11i Install,
Patch and Maintain Applications1Z0-233". Its great feeling and
altogether a different confidence to be called a "Oracle 11i
Applications Database Administrator Certified Professional" since I am
already a Oracle 10g OCP.
As per new rules, if you are Oracle 9i OCP or 10g OCP and have cleared
either IZO-233 or IZO-232 then you Oracle 11i Apps Certified.
Regarding preparation most of the questions were from the following 4
pdfs
1> 11i Concepts(B19295-01)
2> r11510ins (Part No. B19296-01)
3> 11iadproc (B19299-01)
4> 11iadutil(B19300-01)
The best was 11iadproc.pdf which has live scenarios with solutions.
Regards,
A.Kishore

Hi Naim,
Please accept my congratulations! Well done ;)
I don't think your post is complicity off topic.
"Oracle 11i Install, Patch and Maintain Applications" exam is directly
related to this list.
Just wonder how difficult is this exam (I am planning to pass it at
the beginning of the June)?
Would you recommend to get prepared to it or it would be ok to go if
person have 3-5 years experience working as Apps DBA?
I am asking because there are a lot of theoretical questions about
features that you do not use in your real live in some OCP exams. Some
exams are more or less close to the real live.
Just wonder what is your impression about this particular one?
How much time you would recommend to dedicate for preparation and
reading through Education materials?
I have passed "1Z0-231 Implement Oracle Workflow 11i" this week
(Passing score 59%, My score 67%).
My impression is that 80% of information of Training and Exam is
intended for Developers who is actively working on WF implementation.
However 20% of the information was very useful for me in order to
understand concept behind the product (What creator has been thinking
about by the time he designed all those agents, queues and web pages
;).
I believe that Oracle has made the right decision by excluding this
exam from Oracle Apps DBA certification track.
PS Thank you for good words about the list.
