Re: Regarding Mail Alerts

Many mail servers don't accept mail from some random clients. They
authenticate using some login/passwd. Some servers are set up to accept
emails from ip addy ranges, or domain names, etc. Make sure that the smtp
server accepts the emails sent from ur databse. Talk to those guys who
handle mail at the place u work.
