Performance Considerations.

Hi partners,

I am reviewing a note which is regarding to performance considerations for
an 11.5.10.2 Ebusiness environment.

It recommends:

1.- Avoids constant polls to check for shutdown requests.

So, my question is, How can I verify that?, where is it defined?

Another one is:

2.- Portal Tuning: Tune the number of content fetcher threads for PPE
(poolSize). Adjust the fetch request and fetch connection request
timeouts. Ensure that the mod PL/SQL cache is enabled and sized
appropriately.

Any advice on this?
