Absolutely fantastic BLOG from an Oracle Apps Tech Development Person.

Hi all,

Recently I have discovered thi BLOB http://blogs.oracle.com/schan/
Dedicated to Oracle Apps Tech questions.

As Oracle Apps DBA you have to read it on regular basic.

Few things that I found interesting for myself as follows:
- In FUSION release of EBS (~2008) Oracle going to drop existing
authorization process (FND_USERS, FND_RESPONSABILITIES etc) and
implements all security related functionality using Oracle AS 10G (??)
SSO/OID products. It is one of the reasons to learn about SSO/OID/OAS
straightaway today, in order to be prepared fo a future.
- In EBS 12 (2007) Oracle will use AS 10G product as main platform for
technology stack. Another good reason to learn about AS 10G R2/R3 :)
- Oracle Apps Tech stack Development haven't got good enough feedback
from end users in order to improve Tech Stack products like
autoconfig, Oracle Applications Manager, Rapid Clone etc. You can
contribute to this process, by taking part in the Survey "Share Your
E-Business Suite Architectures".
