The Topcon mask was glued into the MT2 camera back, behind the mirror directly
in front of the the film plane. A little acetone and a cotton ball and the thin
plate fell out which increased the field of view for most photos and the edge
artifact for some.

camera body when you locked the mirror up. If you removed it your field of
