[optimal] Re: From Denice in SF

Don’t sweat the physics as much as I did

Beef up on Orbital pathology- cyts, hemangioma’s, myocitis, etc. I gave this
short shift because nobody does much orbital US anymore, MRI too easy,
accessible and definitive. But, about a half dozen questions about that on the
test

Not as much standardized A scan as I would have thought, but about a dozen
questions

Only 4 questions on UBM, despite this being the direction of US. Shows what a
dated test this is

UBM- differentiate between ciliodialysis and subrachoroidal effusion, plateau
iris, angle closure,etc

Refresh yourself on common orbital conditions, lesions in children

Don’t even bother with biometry questions. Your ROUB tells me you know enough
and hardly any questions on that at all.

Hope this helps.

Anyone want some counsel, while it is fresh in my mind, if you are
thinking about taking this test.
