Hi, All,
Before I had the Optacon, I used the old Stereotoner reading aid, =
produced by the Veterans Administration, if memory serves. I learned to =
interpret the print by reading the instruction manual.

I think a lot of people couldn't stand it for a variety of reasons. =
Tow of the most prominent were the noise it made and, they just either =
didn't have the patience to learn it's skills.
Or, they just didn't want to invest the time.
