I believe that there are magnifiers that are flat like a sheet of paper.
They don't have strong magnification. If I find one, I will report.

That's an interesting suggestion, and, though I don't have one of those
magnifiers, Just imagining using one, I have my doubts whether it would
work, because of the magnifier being high enough to lift the camera too far
off the paper. I don't have one to try. I wish I did.
