Active Control thus offers the best possible picture settings any time, any source." This sound like an auto picture screwup, unless it can be turned off. Also: "Digital CrystalClear A unique package of picture innovations including ombfilter, Dynamic Contrast, Color Enhancement and Luminance Transient Processing. Digital Crystal Clear, using 10 bit processing, offers 30% more contrast, natural colors and a high level of detail." which sound ominously like auto digital edge enhancement.
