Kon I cannot agree with you on this one.Form factors are VERY important, and there is NO single form factor that can meet all needs. A flexible display will ALSO need an interactive interface. The pictures you provided the link for suggest that there will still need to be a physical package for the display that can "support" a touch interface for the device.
I cannot put my Powerbook in my pocket, nor could I put the OLED displays in the pictures in a pocket. This does not invalidate the need for notebook computers or the kinds of prototype devices in these pictures. The bracelet display could actually be a good form factor for music players and text messages, but it would be difficult to use such a small display to reply to a text message.
Near as I can tell, mobile web access is a market that already is taking off, thanks to Crackberries, iPhones and iPod Touches, and even cheap netbooks. Speaking of netbooks, I find it interesting that this is the "growth segment" of the PC business. To me this is a signal that the PC market is finally spiraling down to a commodity level where there is little profit left for anyone.
Watch the mobile/handheld space...this is where the next platform will live and where real innovation will take place.
