If you Google for "polymer vision" then you'll find a youtube
video of the "readius demo". It looks like the buttons are part
of the package, this is not a touch sensitive display (yet).
5 are soft-keys, the display tells you what their function is.
When I was flying to SID 2008, almost a year ago, Pieter van
Lieshout was in the same plane and he was carrying a prototype
of the Readius with him. Being a prototype, it shows the
potential of the technology, not necessarily the only form !
Their SID paper was number 60.4, if you want to look it up.
The display is 100 um thick, of which 25 um PEN substrate. The
radius to which it can be rolled up is small: 7.5 mm, you could
roll up the display into almost a pencil shape if you wanted.
I think most of the package is used up by a structure that keeps
the display unrolled when in use. For your one-handed use.
