This confirms what I have been saying.

Wait - one person gives you a link to a foldable OLED and you can't
agree with it for form factor, then another person does and that
'confirms' what you have been 'saying all along'? Pssht. Filip flop.

Sorry Kon, but no flip flop with either message.

The issue is how to physically support the display and provide a means for interaction.

The image you sent showed a rolled up display. Lets assume that it could be unrolled and not immediately roll back up. Unless you placed such a display on a flat hard surface, it would be difficult to implement a touch interface. and if the device used a touchscreen interface, this would add another layer to the roll-up display...

Sounds like it is getting a bit complex, not to mention the potential for it to be rather fragile.

The device that Jeroen provided the link for deals with the issue of supporting the display. I'm still waiting to hear from Jeroen with the answer to my question about the buttons...

Craig

P.S. What is a Filip flop.

;-)
