No one should listen to them. There are some companies in the animation business (names withheld) who make it common practice to outsource to foreign animation studios when they grab new film contracts. More peons pushing pens and mice in far-away lands for sweat-shop pay can get the job done faster. The other thing they frequently do is hire people on contract, and then fire them all right after completion of a big project. Pay is borderline, and medical coverage is usually non-existent (the benefits of contractors!). Every time I hear about this I think to myself 'why doesn't the labor department step in and slam the book on these guys for taking advantage of the workers'?
