This weekend in Greensboro, NC (47th Market):
- Progressive Scan DVD w/Component Out & Digital Audio - $49 (Center
Isle - Pallet w/additional Pallets not far away
- HDTV Stand Set-Top Tuners - ONE Open Box in Best Buy (No Price) (One
dislay unit at Wal-Mart)
- HDTV Cable Sign-Up - 20 Foot Isle Display
- HDTV Satellite Display - similar to cable
The reason the consumers don't get it is because Cable and Satellite are
selling it and marketing it. Who is promoting OTA HDTV? Nobody, at
least in the stores in Greensboro, NC.
FYI - If the broadcasters bought display space in the stores like
DirecTV, Dish and Cable did, it might be fair. Do you believe that
broadcasters are going to do that?
