Hi Larry,
Great link, excellent piece.
Reminds me of when I started my career some 30+ years ago as a
maintenance guy at a wonderful station, KTVQ-TV in Billings, MT. The
Chief Engineer (and a friend since then), JR Middleton, would take me
along on some spectacular translator repair trips. Summer or winter
made no difference - either the truck or the snowmobiles would get us
to the site!
Kudos and thanks to the photographer and editor. Their piece is the
only way I'll ever see the 900' level of a tower!
Happy new year to all,
John
