I'm no scientist, but I don't think you ever go to a lab and ask  
what's "best".  That's up to YOU to decide, based on the results of  
the scientific testing.  The "which is best" conclusion can be very  
subjective.  One person might rate size as more important, another  
gloss.  If the apple with the worm in it is by far the best in all  
other respects, some people might choose to simply cut out the worm  
and eat the rest of the apple.  I can guarantee you my Father would!!
