If Bob Miller were not 1) a resident of the US or 2) not married to the idea of DVB at any cost in the US, we WOULD not have these non-sensical posts. DVB-T was created without any regard for the needs, desires, operating fundamentals or realities of U.S. broadcasting, and commercial broadcasting in general. To say that it would have been adopted in the U.S. IN ANY form is to say "John Kerry is President of the United States and everything is fine, especially with vice president Osama bin Laden." COFDM is another matter, but this is bob vainly trying to get the upper hand by going downstream to DVB-T. Australia -- with several commercial broadcasters -- had to get significant changes in the DVB spec before it was usable there.
