Should be three HD in one dedicated 24 Mb/s multiplex, one HD mixed in
with four SD in another multiplex, and then there's a pay HD in a
subscription-only multiplex, along with five SD channels.

It would be interesting to know which HD seem the most stressed. Of the
free ones, I would expect that the single HD stream alongside 4 SD could
potentially get more room to work with.

That's the way I felt about it too. In France, it seems like HD was
introduced at a time when it had already become affordable for the
masses. I would think that should guarantee instant success. Here, in
November 1998 when HD broadcasting began, prices were still very high
and the quality of the receivers was not good, so we got a barrage of
nay-sayers for years and years.
