I own a fixed pixel display, an RP-LCD set.

The so-called "screen door effect" is clearly visible
if close enough. This is also seen on all fixed pixel
direct view computer screens.

At TV watching distance it is simply not an issue.

In any event it is being fixed with various optical
tricks.
