So, Sony is in so much trouble that they are stepping away from the Sony
brand -- in TVs! This sounds like a "big fast plan" is in place, the type
of plan that only accelerates a company's decline, and never turns it
around.
Sony will have new management within 3 years. The only question: top
management, middle management, or both? I say three years only because Sony
has had artherisclerosis for a few decades.
My mom's been complaining about the cost of cable again. Last week, I took
her for a viewing of DBS at Circuit City. (Bad idea; Dish is cheaper than
cable.) The DirecTV demo was using a Sharp LQUOS (or whatever the brand is)
TV set. As it should be.
