[opendtv] Screens (was: HDMI from STBs)

LCoS is like any other LCDs in that it uses polarized light. This does not 

necessarily mean that half of the lamp light is wasted, because they can 
use a recycling polarizer. Though that will probably increase the etendue, 

so it would work well only with a larger LCoS panel and projection lens...

Do you mind the fact that it is glossy ? LCDs are getting it too...  :-( 
Both my old CRT rear projectors have a dark matte screen, thank god.
