[opendtv] Replace the VHS VCR

I know Bert gets much ridicule for his stance on the lack of equipment like
the VHS VCR, but in reality, he does have a point. There is no one piece
of equipment that can tune, decode, and record onto removable media that is
as simple, reliable and cheap. There are products that do some things
well, but none of them do everything the old VHS can do. I'm not saying
that we should all stay with the VHS machine, but I must admit, I always
program a VHS VCR as a backup to any other forms of recording (DVD-R, PVR,
PC, etc.) because they don't always work. It would be nice if there would
be a reasonably priced box that could reliably record a DTT-HD signal onto
cheap removable media before NTSC goes off the air. And tapeless would be
a plus!
