Trying to remember the particulars of the 8-VSB/COFDM controversy.
I remember that a delegation headed by Congressman Dingel went to the
Pentagon to lecture the DoD on its proper role in the COFDM debate
after the DoD sent a letter to the FCC supporting COFDM. Dingel's
delegation told the DoD to but out.
Is any of this accurate? If it happened when did it happen and any
other supporting post, emails, stories or rememberances would be
appreciated.
