Tom;
What is a cable-ready digital set expected to use to tune into digital
signals? Part 15 is searchable online; I'm not sure that part 76 is also.
Beyond that, I'm not in a position to spend much time researching this until
I have extinguished a few more bugs.
I can say that I was reviewing PSIP requirements in parts 73, 15 and 76 a
week or two back -- I still haven't gotten everything -- and ISTR a QAM
requirement.
John, who thought this morning that he had more free time than he turned out
to have.

John -
Are you stating that all digital TV's (with tuners) are required to
support unencrypted QAM? Or only the ones claiming cable support. Or what?
Do you have a link to the part 15 & 76? I would indeed like to read that.
