Whatever the prospects of mobile video, the best shot at delivering it is using digital broadcast infrastructure: 1. no narrow-purpose transmitters; 2. Can transmit current tv content without seeking permission from the content holders; 3. builds upon existing broadcast infrastructure, staff and procedures; 4. broadcasters already have the expertise; 5. broadcasters can provide free samples (if they go pay) 6. broadcasters already have the eyeballs 7. they can cost-effectively create their own content.
